The NoPixel GTA RP server is getting sued

At the roleplayer's paradise, it looks like trouble is forming.
People think that NoPixel is the biggest and most famous Grand Theft Auto 5 roleplaying server. One of the people who worked on it for two years has now filed a case against it.
Danny Tracey, who may be best known to GTA RPers as either DW or dwjft, is a software engineer who worked on NoPixel servers from 2020 to 2022 before being fired for no reason on December 28, 2022.
At the time, people in the GTA RP community noticed that Tracey had lost his login information, and many thought he might have broken into the NoPixel sites after he was fired.
But according to the planned case, Tracey didn't know he was being fired. Also, the claim that he was trying to "access private user information" was a load of nonsense. Tracey wasn't aware that NoPixel had already fired him, so he was just trying to do his job as a server worker. Because of this, Tracey wants to sue NoPixel for a total of $150,000 because he lost money from streaming and because the server wouldn't give him his share of the money.
The main point of the court paper is that Tracey wants to get paid because NoPixel fired him without giving him a reason and for his "significant creative contributions" to NoPixel, especially the "entire payment processing system."
Tracey could get a lot of money if the court rules in her favor in the case. He might be able to make a copyright claim on the back-end technology of NoPixel, which he helped build, as a third party who feels wronged.
NoPixel could, of course, decide to take Tracey's payments out of the system and start over, but it could lose more than what Tracey is asking for as payment.
The result of the case won't be known for a while, but it's just the latest in a long line of problems involving NoPixel. The top player on the server, Penta, just left, and he hopes that other people will follow him. But xQc doesn't think this is easy to do, since we're talking about how people make a living. Some streamers can't leave NoPixel because they can't afford to lose the regular income and fans it gives them, even though the server has been getting a lot of bad press lately.
