GTA 5 Actor Comments on Possible GTA 6 Return

Fans of Grand Theft Auto want to know everything they can about GTA 6, so much so that Steven Ogg, who played Trevor Phillips in GTA 5, is being asked about the game and how he might be involved. Trevor Phillips probably won't be in GTA 6, unless he makes a cameo, because the series isn't known for having characters come back. So, it looks like the character won't be in GTA 6 at all, or at least not in a big way. Even though Ogg doesn't say this for sure, his answer when asked if he will be in GTA 6 is pretty telling.
When asked about a possible part in GTA 6, Ogg said he had "no idea." He then said, "Actors are the last people to know anything," which is usually true. The end of this was "So, we'll see." That was the end. Even though "we'll see" leaves the door open, fans shouldn't get too excited.
Even though it's true that many actors and voice actors don't find out what they're working on until a very late stage of development, it's clear that GTA 6 is pretty far along in the process, with most theories and reports putting its release at the latest in 2024 or 2025. Could Ogg be working on GTA 6 right now and not know about it? It's possible, especially if he only has a small part. However, it seems odd that he wouldn't have been brought in by now and just put under NDA. Rockstar Games keeps almost everything about how it works a secret, so it's possible. But Trevor Phillips is such a specific figure that trying to hide him behind an "unidentified role" would be impossible.
We can only guess for now, which is a shame. And Rockstar Games isn't going to talk about this because it never talks about rumors. Still, if the situation changes in any way, we will make sure to change the story to reflect that.
As always, feel free to tell us what you think by leaving a note or two. Do you want Trevor Phillips to be in GTA 6? If so, would you rather see the character make a small appearance or play a big part?
