50 Cent is working on a non-GTA related TV series titled "Vice City"

"Vice City" is a project that 50 Cent is working on, but it's not what GTA fans were expecting.
After teasing something about the famous open-world game by Rockstar Games, Deadline confirms that 50 Cent's G-Unit Film & Television is working on a new original series that will debut on Paramount+.
Here's what the magazine Deadline wrote about Vice City:
An original idea from writers and executive producers Darnell Metayer (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts) and Josh Peters (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts), with Chad Stahelski (John Wick franchise) serving as executive producer/director.
You wouldn't be wrong if you thought the Vice City TV show had something to do with the old Rockstar game.
According to the announcement, the show will be about dishonorably discharged soldiers in the mid-1980s who go home to Miami. Because the three people are thought to have been involved in the Iran Contra scandal, they have little to no money and no job prospects. As the three friends struggle to make a living, they decide to team up with a Colombian immigrant they don't know by name and use their skills to make money.
The plot will make you think it has something to do with GTA, but don't count on it.
And just like that, we're right back where we started with GTA 6. Still, the good news is that someone who knows what's going on with GTA 6 let us know. Rockstar wants the game to come out either late in 2024 or early in 2025. So hard is the deadline that Rockstar is willing to cut content from GTA 6 and put it out as DLC just to meet it.
